Matt Harwood / removal of birdseed as bad substrate

Why was this removed? I see no reason why this shouldn't be pointed out, as a lot of people use it but many don't recommend it. In the interests of balance, it ought to be left in. If there is a positive reason to use birdseed, or if it can be classified as a neutral material, then by all means let me know - but as it stands, it's a removal without justification. --Filecore 22:15, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Move to less divisive format

Perhaps the wiki article ought to move from a "good/bad" approach to a simple list ("recommended" and "non-recommended", maybe) with pros and cons listed for each substrate, thus moving away from preaching and allowing the reader to make more of an informed, yet personal, choice.
