Sudenese Uromastyx - Dispar or Ocellata?
Faequine noted on this page that "The CITES documentation makes no mention of U. ocellata." - this isn't strictly true, they just categorise their uromastyx in a slightly different way. Ocellata can be found under AC22 Doc. 10.2, Annex 6e - a local copy can be found here. One thing that CITES does is combine several minor species (eg, Ocellata, Ornata) together into one document. It's terribly confusing.--Filecore 17:17, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
The note was in regards to the specific document i used as a source for that page. Faequine May 30 2010 5 29 PM
Oh, okay, I get it now - it didn't mention that Dispar are called Sudanese but so are Ocellata. I'll have to have a better read through them again, now that the species pages are getting filled in. --Filecore 07:05, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
