UroWiki:Language policy

The UroWiki is developed and hosted in Europe, and thus the chosen language variant of the wiki is British English. Although many of our contributions come from North America (the USA and Canada in particular), content may be edited in order to be consistent with the chosen langauge variant.

Global find-and-replace may be used to change text from one variant to another, and redirects may be placed on popular page names (such as Color) to point them to their British English variants. This policy is non-negotiable but may be altered or abandoned on the whim of the site founder.
