Running the UroWiki
The UroWiki is a work of love, created to educate new uromastyx owners, fill the gap in knowledge between the information that's available and the latest findings and research, and to once and for all solve the confusing contradictions about all aspects of uromastyx care.
Although the UroWiki is freely available to all, and we would never take any action to prevent users gaining access to the knowledge stored in this central location, it is hosted privately at the personal expense of filecore and made free to all users as an act of pure generosity. It is in this spirit that the time of researching these issues, collating and summarising data, and writing and editing the wiki itself is volunteered, and would never be begrudged.
If you believe in the UroWiki as we do, you may consider helping by researching, by editing, or by donating a small amount of money towards server running costs. Any of these will be met with a large amount of gratitude.

You can find out about issues, and help the UroWiki by:
- emailing filecore with links or completed articles you wish to submit
- posting your information to the forums
- signing up to become an editor

This is probably the best way to help; more than anything else, the UroWiki needs competent editors who can add new articles and expand existing ones. Become an editor today!
Donating cash
Since the wiki is privately hosted, it does take money to keep it running. As the wiki grows in popularity, the amount of disk space and bandwidth needed to host it also grows, and each step of growth costs just that little bit more. No matter if you're donating time, expertise or money, all we can say is thanks! You can see the results all around you in the form of this site, the articles and graphics, the information, and the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into making it. If you didn't donate - you're still very welcome to use the site, because our goal isn't to make money. Our goal is for you to become better educated and for your uromastyx to have a better, healthier and happier quality of life. And if that isn't a worthwhile goal, we just don't know what is :-)
