From UroWiki
Important note: this is purely an example of one week's food - this will of course vary from week to week, depending on the rotationals used and whatever is seasonally available; variety is important to your lizard's health. You will also want to make some seeds available to your uromastyx, in a small bowl which can be right in the enclosure.
- Staples used in this example: curly endive, escarole
- Rotationals used in this example: radicchio, bok choy, spaghetti squash
Preparing the staples
| First we start with some curly endive, which we cut up nice and bite-sized, and spin the water off with a salad spinner. This keeps it as dry as possible in the fridge and will let it last longer..

| Then we will cut up the escarole, and again use the salad spinner.

Preparing the rotationals
| Now for the rotationals. First, radicchio.
| Bok Choi.
| Spaghetti Squash. For the spaghetti squash, I cook the entire thing first, then freeze it so I can feed as required, and it keeps for quite some time. I packed the ice cube trays nice and tight with the squash so I don't have a freezer full of squash ice cubes. I remove one cube at a time as needed, let it thaw out and pull out what I need each day.

| And this is how my food bowl looks before the uromastyx devours every last bite.
| Once I have finished cutting up enough food for a week at a time, I store it in a big tupperware container in the fridge. This makes feedings in the morning a bit easier for somebody who works at 7am and the terrarium lights do not go on until 8am.
