Weight
From UroWiki
Weight is an important factor for a Uromastyx. Owners should always get a good digital grams scale to keep track of the weight of their Uromastyx, as sudden decreases in weight may be signs of something wrong. Of course it must be taken into consideration that during winter months a Uro will eat less food and therefore gain weight at a much slower rate, or not gain weight at all. If you put your Uro through a brumation period where little to no food is offered, there will be a decrease in weight for sure. Just be sure during the spring months to offer food and continue to keep track of the weight. If there is not a weight gain equal to what was lost over the winter you may want to consider less of a brumation or none at all the following winter.
Having accurate records of weight of your Uro will help ensure their health is good. Keep a sheet of paper or create an excel file to keep your records handy.
